The short version.
I'm Bobby Westerfeld, an entrepreneur based in Orange County. I co-founded Nobyn, an AI automation firm that finds where small businesses are leaking time and money and builds the systems that stop it.
Before Nobyn, I spent time inside the legal world, working with an employment law firm and a workers' compensation practice. That's where I learned how real businesses actually run, where the friction lives, and how much of it software should be handling.
I grew up in Irvine, in Vista Verde, the middle child between an older sister and a younger brother. Outside of work you'll find me around cars, behind a camera, or building something. I've always loved making and creating things.

Co-Founder · Nobyn
2025 — PresentCo-founded an AI automation firm in Orange County. We find where small businesses and service-based teams are quietly leaking time and money, then build the systems that stop it.
Videographer · Nexposure
2025 — 2026Spent a year as the in-house videographer for this marketing and lead-generation business, shooting and cutting professional video. It gave me a view of the company from the inside, before Nobyn took them on as our first automation client.
Case Manager & Legal Assistant · DGC
2024 — 2025A workers' compensation law firm. I managed case files end to end and handled case prep, filings, and research, keeping claims moving and the attorneys ready.
Law Clerk · Walraven & Westerfeld LLP
Summer 2023 — Summer 2024An employment law firm. I supported the attorneys with case prep, court filings, and legal research, and got a close look at how disputes between businesses and their people actually play out.

High school — PresentShooting cars since high school and through college. A long-running creative outlet that turned into paid work and sharpened the eye I bring to everything else.
Nexposure
A marketing and lead-generation business, and Nobyn's first client. My faith shapes how I work and how I treat people. I'm part of the community at Calvary Chapel Pacific Hills. In the summer of 2023 I went on a missions trip to Nicaragua, which is still one of the experiences that shaped how I see the world.
